Administrative Assistant
Desiree is the initial point of contact for people looking for services and the direct link to Clinician's availability. Their awareness around mental health, inclusivity and welcoming mentality, make her a wonderful member of the team. They are an active member in connecting people to mental health services and resources.
Outside of this role, Desiree works with infants, children and their families. They spend free time with friends, animals and rollerblading.

Steps to Change, LLC is in network and accepts the following insurance plans.
We do not bill out of network insurance, so please verify the Clinician is in network along with coverage and benefits.

*The rate of reimbursement varies from each insurance provider. Below are the rates that are billed to insurance companies and for private pay clients. Each rate is per session.
Initial Assessment- $350
Individual Session- $300
Autism Assessment- $900 (private pay only)
ADHD Assessment- $650 (private pay only)
We do not bill out of network insurance. If we are not in network with your insurance, Michelle will provide you with a superbly that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
We do not bill secondary insurance, all insurance is billed through the primary insurance plan.
In alignment with our belief system around equity and social justice, we offer a sliding scale rate.
Our full fee for a 50 minute intake session is $350. Our sliding scale ranges from $225 to $350 per session. Individual sessions are $175 to $300. We utilize an honor-based system where you, the client, self select the payment rate within this range that you can sustainably afford based on your current financial reality.
This model is built on community trust and mutual aid. By paying at the highest point of the scale you can afford, you directly contribute to sustaining this practice and supporting access for clients with fewer financial resources.
